Terms of service

Lovely Home · Last updated: 31 August 2026

Who we are

Lovely Home is operated by Mark Lovely (“we”, “us”). Contact: support@lovely-home.co.uk. These terms govern the household hub service at {name}.lovely-hub.com and the marketing site at lovely-home.co.uk.

Prices are as shown. VAT is not charged.

The service

We provide a private home hub for one household: hosting, HTTPS, sign-in, a house guide, sitter mode, and the features listed on What's included. You provide household content and any third-party accounts (for example Alexa or a calendar feed). A wall tablet is optional — we do not sell hardware.

The hub address you pick at signup cannot be changed later. The public demo is a separate site with fictional data and is not your hub.

Account plans, billing, and cancellation

  • The Free plan is available at no charge for one home, with usage limits described on pricing.
  • Lovely Home+ covers one home with full features. It is billed through Stripe at £4.99/month or £44.99/year when you choose it at signup or upgrade from Account → Billing.
  • Multi Home (3) and Multi Home (10) are account-level subscriptions on the same billing page — one Stripe subscription for your home allowance; every included hub gets Lovely Home+ features without a separate checkout per address.
  • After a paid Lovely Home+ or Multi Home charge, you may cancel or change plan at any time. Access continues until the end of the paid period, then hubs revert to Free limits or you must close extra homes if you are over the new allowance.
  • Close the hub entirely from Account → Billing (we email a one-time code to the signup address) or email support — the live site is taken down when billing ends and we keep your archived guide for about 12 months so you can reinstate the same name from Billing or My Homes.
  • Failed payments: Stripe retries; the hub stays up during those retries. If the subscription is deleted, we archive and remove the live hub.

UK consumer rights are not affected by these terms. If the service is not as described, email support.

Your responsibilities

  • Keep owner and sitter email lists accurate. You control who can sign in.
  • Do not use the hub for unlawful content, or to store payment card numbers.
  • The house guide is information you write. We are not a security alarm, locksmith, or medical service.
  • Tablet kiosk PINs and Fully Kiosk settings are yours to record. We cannot recover a locked kiosk for you.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep hubs available, but hosting depends on Cloudflare and other providers. We may update the software. We will not sell your household hub data. See the privacy policy and security page.

Liability

We provide the hub as a household information dashboard. We are not liable for lost keys, failed sits, or third-party devices. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. For consumers, your statutory rights remain.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without limiting any consumer right to bring a claim in your home country if that right applies.
